Future Car: Volvo Electric Vehicle Teaser Sketch Leaked

A sketch of what Volvo described as "a future Volvo Electric Car"

The sketch was on page 33 of a Volvo PowerPoint presentation during an event by lithium-ion battery manufacturer EnerDel. EnerDel will provide the electric vehicle platform for the electric Volvo C30.

2011 Shelby GT350 Mustang unveiled at Barrett-Jackson collector car auction

Shelby American, legendary tuner Carroll Shelby’s firm, has ressurected the Shelby GT350 of old, basing it on the 2011 Ford Mustang GT. The Shelby team unveiled a supercharged concept version of the 2011 Shelby GT350 at the U.S. Barrett-Jackson Auction, on the 45th anniversary of the first GT350.

Ford introduced their new 2011 Mustang a few weeks ago in Detroit. The new 2011 Ford Mustang GT is the Official Pace Car at this year’s 52nd Daytona 500.

Ford also announced that they will be building 50 replicas of the car, but the actual pace car has been auctioned off for charity at the Barrett-Jackson Collector Car Auction in Scottsdale. All proceeds from the auction are to be donated to the Juvenile Diabetes Research.

The 2011 Mustang GT, powered by the all-new 5.0-liter V-8 engine, officially starts the race on Feb. 14 at Daytona International Speedway.
